The Zero-Data Policy

Your privacy is the core principle behind VocoSafe AI. This application was built with a Zero-Data Architecture. This means it does not collect, store, or transmit your voice data.

1. Local Processing (On-Device)

VocoSafe AI processes all audio recordings and speech transcriptions locally on your Mac using its built-in Apple Silicon processor. Your voice data never leaves your device. Your audio and text are never sent to any cloud servers for processing.

2. What Information Is Collected

Absolutely no personal data is collected from the app's core functionality. VocoSafe AI does not track what you say, what you type, or when you use the application.

The only time data is exchanged over the internet is:

• When you manually download new AI models from within the app (connecting directly to HuggingFace repositories).
• When verifying your Pro purchase via the Apple App Store framework (StoreKit). This is handled entirely by Apple; your payment details are never seen or stored by VocoSafe AI.

3. Analytics and Tracking

VocoSafe AI does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporters (like Firebase or Crashlytics), or marketing trackers inside the macOS application. Your usage remains 100% anonymous. If you choose to share crash data or usage statistics to help improve the app, this is strictly opt-in and handled securely through Apple's official App Store analytics.

5. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy ever changes, this page will be updated. The commitment to 100% on-device processing and zero data collection will never change.
